I qualified with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the Eastman Dental Hospital in June 2007. I have over 12 years experience in dentistry. I obtained my National Dental Nurse Certificate in 1999. I then became a senior dental nurse educator at the EDH teaching and training dental nurses.
As a dental hygienist I am trained and competent in the administration of local anaesthetic, topical fluoride varnishes and dental radiography.
I have recently completed a course on teeth whitening and am able to carry out the most up to date treatments for my patients.
I have a particular interest in the management and treatment of advanced gum disease. I am committed to improving my patients general oral health and supporting them to maintain a healthy mouth through my regular maintenance programme.
I am committed to continual profession development in the workplace this enables me to deliver an up to date and high standard of dentistry to my patients.
In my spare time I enjoy watching old movies and keeping active through regular gym sessions, I am hoping to compete in the Race for Life this year.
