September\u2019s Smile of the Month fills me with pride \u2013 when patients get to the end of their treatment and realise the extent of the transformation, it really is a very special feeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rolly came to us with two aims:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Achieve a more aesthetically pleasing smile<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Improve his gum health<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The root of both these concerns lay in his crooked teeth, which can affect confidence, but also have a negative impact on gum health, which is exactly what was happening with Rolly, with bleeding gums and general discomfort while brushing.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Together, Rolly and I decided that Invisalign was the right option \u2013 removable aligners that would gradually straighten his teeth without the need for metal braces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Invisalign comes with various advantages; not least the fact that it\u2019s easier to maintain your oral hygiene during treatment, because you can remove your aligners to brush and floss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Over an eight-month period, Rolly wore his aligners consistently, and as his teeth became straighter, his gum health significantly improved, with the spaced between his teeth easier to clean, and his gums no longer bleeding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Delighted with the result, he decided on a final flourish, with teeth whitening to brighten his teeth up and enhance the overall cosmetic effects of the treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
