We don\u2019t believe going to the dentist should hurt, and we believe that the entire process should be calm and free of stress.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n For some patients, it\u2019s a case of going at their pace, making sure they\u2019re relaxed, ensuring they\u2019ve got the information they need, and using various pain reduction techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For others, who are perhaps even more nervous, and have maybe even avoided dental visits as a result of their fear or anxiety, we provide Intravenous (IV) Sedation, which allows them to undergo treatment in a deeply relaxed state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What is IV Sedation?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n IV sedation<\/strong> is the most effective method for managing severe dental anxiety and we\u2019ve provided this for hundreds of patients over the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A small tube is placed in your arm or hand, and the medication is delivered directly into your bloodstream, resulting in deep relaxation throughout your treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Unlike oral sedation, IV sedation works quickly and can be adjusted throughout the procedure for maximum comfort.
