We\u2019re back with March\u2019s Smile of the Month, and the heroine this time around is Nadiyah, who recently completed her smile journey with Dr Ronit Patel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nadiyah first visited us with crowding and an increased overjet\u00a0(where the upper front teeth protrude over the lower front teeth),\u00a0<\/em>and as a result she felt very self-conscious about her smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her aim was simple: straighter, whiter and more symmetrical teeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As always, the journey kicked off with a comprehensive assessment, including digital scans, X-rays, and clinical photographs, and armed with those findings, we created a bespoke treatment plan for Nadiyah, which included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7      Invisalign<\/strong> to straighten her teeth and improve her bite<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7      Teeth whitening<\/strong> to brighten her smile<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7      Composite bonding<\/strong> to enhance the shape of her teeth\u2014all without any drilling!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step #1 \u2013 Invisalign treatment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As award-winning Invisalign providers, we administer a lot of Invisalign treatment \u2013 it works, it\u2019s discreet and it\u2019s flexible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nadiyah was an ideal candidate for Invisalign, so that\u2019s where we got started, using clear aligners and small attachments to gently shift her teeth into place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over time, her crowding was corrected, and her bite improved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step #2 \u2013 Teeth whitening<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Towards the end of the Invisalign treatment, Nadiyah had teeth whitening treatment, which meant her smile wasn\u2019t just straight, it was also fresh and bright.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step #3 \u2013 Composite bonding<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, we used minimally invasive composite bonding to refine the shape of her teeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bonding helps to fix any minor damage or gaps in your teeth, and as part of Nadiyah\u2019s treatment, it meant that her smile was symmetrical, so we could tick that off the brief!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bonding was carefully colour-matched to blend seamlessly with her natural tooth, creating a flawless finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step #4 \u2013 Retainers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having gone to this effort, Nadiyah\u2019s keen to keep her smile in the best possible condition, and retainers are an essential step to prevent relapse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
