“The most professional and thorough hygienist I have ever been treated by”

This was my first appointment. I made it on the phone via Phoebe, who was really helpful and polite, a real delight to deal with. I saw the hygienist, Michaela, who was the most professional and thorough hygienist I have ever been treated by. She did a stellar job and informed me in detail of my teeth/gum issues. It was more expensive than I normally spend, but I feel I’ve gained a lot.

As a nervous patient I am very pleased with this dentist. They listen to the patient’s wishes and they take pain relief seriously. The screen showing calming videos above the dentist’s chair is a helpful touch. Mihaela’s treatment of my periodontitis has been excellent. I had been seeing an expensive dentist (the kind with leather sofas in the waiting room) in central London for this condition, and I have to say Mihaela’s treatment has produced much better results.

“I actually didn’t feel any pain!”

This was my first visit for a filling which as usual very nervous as I am with dentists, had a warm greeting from Reception and my Dentist. Atmosphere very calm soft music playing in the background which made me feel sort of relaxed. All in all, my experience was satisfying. I actually didn’t feel any pain!

“Gentle and approachable and accommodating to all my enquiries”

All Doctors and staff are very friendly and accommodating. I have been with Brightside for years now and they are getting better with facilities and treatments. I would like to say thank you to Dr Negar and Dr Patel and their staff every time I come for a check-up or cleaning or treatment. “Highly recommend for anyone who’s afraid and uncomfortable going to the dentist”

Booked an initial checkup after searching for dentists in my area that gave support for anxious patients. Couldn’t be happier, I had booked with Ronit and he was incredibly supportive and guiding from the get go. He explained everything he was doing and why and went into detail about the check up as well as future treatment, he and the dental assistant were very caring and made me comfortable that I was in good hands. Highly recommend for anyone who’s been afraid and uncomfortable going to the dentist.

“I would highly recommend Brightside but especially for nervous patients”

Having a dental phobia going to the dentist is my worst nightmare but since going to Brightside a few years ago, I’m slowly conquering my fear, this is due to the lovely people working there who are all so understanding of my phobia and talk me through every stage of my treatment. Knowing that I can stop the treatment at any time if I need too also helps calm my nerves. Having someone understanding really has helped me conquer my fear of the dentist and although I’m still nervous, I’m so much better than what I was. The whole experience is very personal. I would highly recommend Brightside but especially for nervous patients.

Calm and gentle is not just an advertising slogan for this dental practice. The skill and sensitivity with which Dr Shah and team handled a dental extraction in a young person with profound needle phobia was exceptional. The procedure went very smoothly. This seems to be one of the few dental practices in London which offers “The Wand” minimal anaesthesia technique for more nervous patients. It worked very well. The procedure was entirely painless. I also appreciated Dr Shah and the reception team’s willingness to answer my many questions about treatment before I decided on this practice. Highly recommended.

Having not attended a dentist for 28 years because of fear based on childhood dental experience and after a year of therapy I have finally been able to visit a dentist. Just had a filling replaced with Ronit. We opted to use the wand instead of a traditional injection to numb the area. The procedure was painless and Ronit was reassuring throughout the process. All done within about 40 minutes. The discomfort afterwards was minimal, I didn’t even need a paracetamol. I’ve put this procedure off for so long and I needed have worried. Thank you, Ronit and to the team at Brightside. Oh, and the new clinic is beautiful!

My second visit to Brightside and I can reconfirm that for someone as nervous as I am this is the best dental practice I have ever been to, they are all so friendly and understanding and their up-to-date treatments make you feel in good hands. Dr Ketan Shah has the most gentle approach ever and I never felt uncomfortable at all, he is an absolute gem. I wish I had had a dentist like this years ago. “A genuinely caring and relaxing atmosphere”

This is a new location for Brightside Dental which I was thrilled to find so easy to get to as well as the fresh and bright space providing a genuinely caring and relaxing atmosphere providing friendly efficient and thorough dental care. There are now new screens with music on the ceilings so when you are in the dental chair sitting back you can enjoy the views of beaches and trees. Plus living walls of greenery adding to the relaxing ambience.

I’m a very nervous patient at the dentist and I found Brightside Dental in hopes of overcoming my fear. “No clinical smells – I had to remind myself it was a Dental practice”

5-star Service. I felt comfortable, relaxed I thought I would be tense Nice relaxing music. Great Dentist Dr Shah. A comprehensive 360 mapping of my teeth, mouth and gums. Surprised how relaxed I was very clean environment. No clinical smells or high-pitched drilling noises heard… A very Professional and well-run practice. I had to remind myself it was a Dental practice. Especially as l have a phobia. A bad one………. Brightside is worth it wonderful treatment you are not told off or made to feel guilty they talk to you about everything you need to know. They give you great options so that you can make informed decisions too.
