November really is racing away from us – the John Lewis ad’s out, there’s tinsel everywhere and we’re well on the way towards Christmas.
But before we rush headlong into Christmas shopping and planning for the big day, it’s time to update you on what’s been happening on the Brightside:
Welcome, Shivani!
We’re delighted to welcome Shivani to the Brightside Dental team as our new Dental Nurse.
Before moving to London, Shivani qualified as a dentist in India and successfully ran her own dental practice.

Caroline’s brilliance recognised, AGAIN!
We’re proud to share that our clinical dental technician Caroline has been named in the Laboratory Leading 20 for 2025 – the second year running!

Our fantastic dental nurse Elif has just started her maternity leave, and we’re eagerly awaiting an update! We’ll all miss her around the practice but are so happy for her as she starts this exciting new chapter. Thank you, Elif, for all your hard work and positivity, and good luck for this next step!
Team Member of the Quarter…
…is Phoebe! Phoebe is responsible for marketing and administration, and has had a brilliant impact since joining earlier this year. Voted by the team, this award shows just much we all appreciate what she brings to the table. Well done, Phoebe!
And last but not least, a trip down memory lane
I recently attended my university reunion, marking an incredible 25 years since qualifying as a dentist and 30 years since beginning my studies.
We met in London Bridge, close to Guy’s Hospital, where our journey began all those years ago.
Nearly half of our year group managed to attend, with some travelling from across the UK and even as far as Dubai to join the celebration. Spending the evening surrounded by familiar faces with whom I shared five life-defining years brought back wonderful memories of the experiences that helped shape our careers.
