Smile of The Month: From Crowding to Confidence
Before we fully dive into mistletoe and mince pies (word of warning, they contain a lot of sugar…), we’ve got one more thing to unwrap: our November Smile of the Month!
This time around we’re celebrating a fantastic transformation from our patient Tristan.
Crowded, uneven and unaligned…
When Tristan first came to us, he had two main concerns:
- His teeth were crowded, which made them look uneven.
- His bite wasn’t aligned, and this made cleaning his teeth more difficult.
Both these issues left him feeling unhappy with his smile, and he was ready to make a change.
Dr Patel’s Personalised plan…
After a full assessment with digital scans, X-rays and photos, Dr Ronit Patel created a personalised treatment plan for Tristan. His treatment involved three simple steps:
- Straighten his teeth using Invisalign clear aligners
- Whiten his smile
- Fit retainers to keep everything in place
Tristan’s transformation
As the weeks went by, Tristan’s teeth became straighter, his bite improved and his smile looked more balanced. Towards the end of his journey, we brightened his smile further with whitening treatment.
The result was fantastic, Tristan was delighted and the last thing anyone wanted was for his teeth to revert, so for the final step we fitted Tristan out with clear Vivera retainers, which he wears every night and will keep his smile straight and true.
