Momentous
It’s been a momentous couple of weeks – as many reading this will know, I made the decision to hang up the gloves and drill and step back from the clinical side of dentistry for health reasons.
The response I’ve had from patients has been phenomenal, and I’m really grateful for their understanding – I’ll still be very much involved here at Brightside, and I look forward to continuing to push the practice forward and keep improving our service in every way I can.
Of course, it wouldn’t have been possible for me to do this without a truly amazing team behind me, and today I want to celebrate a couple of fantastic achievements from Team Brightside that are well worth shining a light on:
Starting with the wonderful Dr Minal Shah, we are proud to announce that she has officially completed her sedation training.

This is a major achievement that enhances the care we can offer to our patients, particularly those with dental anxiety. Minal has worked hard to develop new skills to help patients feel more at ease — a true reflection of the Brightside approach. Well done, Minal!
Second up, huge congratulations to Maria, one of our amazing dental nurses, who is celebrating 4 years with us! Maria brings positivity, professionalism and compassion to her role every single day. Thank you, Maria, for your loyalty and hard work. We are lucky to have you!

As the saying goes, ‘team work makes the dream work’, and I’ve experienced this firsthand – if you’ve also experienced something worth shouting about from our team, we would be so grateful if you left us a review:
Your feedback means a lot to us and helps others discover the Brightside experience too!
