September in sight
I can’t quite believe it, but September is in sight, so before the kids go back to school, the nights start to darken and the first mince pies are spotted in the supermarkets, it’s time for a few summer shoutouts for the Brightside team:
Caroline’s karate journey continues
Let’s kick things off (pun intended!) with our incredible clinical dental technician, Caroline.
Two years ago, she attended the TISKA Shotokan Karate Masterclass in Spain, where she earned her 1st Dan Shodan Black Belt.
She wasn’t done though – this summer she was back in Spain, training once again at the Masterclass in preparation for her 2nd Dan – Nidan grading.
This next level is intense, takes three years to train for and is by invitation only, and Caroline was invited, by one of the 200 best karatekas in the world!
Painting party for Minal
Back in July, Minal celebrated her birthday in the most creative way possible – with a painting party!
Guest each took on the samew artistic challenge: painting a beautiful bird. At the end of the session, everyone revealed their unique masterpieces, each one reflecting their individual style and flair. Happy belated birthday, Minal!
Minal wasn’t the only one celebrating a birthday this summer – we marked both Phoebe and Elena’s birthdays at the beginning of this month. Happy birthday to you both – hope you had great days!
Celebrating our precious Krystal
To wrap up our summer shoutouts, I’m delighted to share that Krystal has been nominated as Team Member of the Quarter – a hugely deserved accolade that recognises her hard work, positive energy and dedication.
As a reminder, these awards are voted for by the whole team, and this reflects just how valuable we all find Krystal – thank you for all you do!
